Kenaikannya pun rata-rata Rp500-Rp1.000. Kenaikan ini terjadi di beberapa pengelola jalan tol, salah satunya PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR). Sembilan ruas jalan tol yang akan mengalami kenaikan yaitu Jalan Tol Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa, Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa, Cawang-Tomang-Grogol-Pluit, Cawang-Tanjung Priok-Ancol Timur-Pluit, Tol Serpong-Pondok Aren, Tol Palimanan-Plumbon-Kanci, Tol Surabaya-Gempol, Tol Semarang ABC dan Tol Ujung Pandang Seksi 1 dan Seksi 2. Penyesuaian tarif tol diatur dalam Pasal 48 ayat (3) Undang-Undang Nomor 38 Tahun 2004 tentang Jalan dan Pasal 68 ayat (1) Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 15 Tahun 2005 tentang Jalan Tol. Sesuai Undang-Undang ini, evaluasi dan penyesuaian tarif tol dilakukan setiap 2 (dua) tahun sekali. Penyesuaian tarif ini dilakukan oleh Badan Pengatur Jalan Tol (BPJT) berdasarkan tarif lama yang disesuaikan dengan pengaruh inflasi. Adapun penyesuaian tarif yang dilakukan oleh badan usaha jalan tol berkode saham JSMR adalah sebagai berikut: 1.
