Usai Temui Jokowi, CEO Apple Tim Cook: Indonesia Pasar Sangat Penting bagi Kami

JAKARTA - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Apple Tim Cook usai bertemu Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) di Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, hari ini. Tim Cook mengaku sangat antusias berada di Indonesia.

Dirinya menyebut Indonesia merupakan pasar yang sangat penting bagi Apple.

"Hello, everyone. Its great to be here with you, Iam excited to be in Indonesia. Indonesia is a very important market for us. And I had a great conversation with the president about our commitment to the country," kata Tim Cook di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Rabu (17/4/2024).

Tim Cook mengaku bersama dengan Presiden Jokowi juga membahas mengenai pembangunan pabrik Apple di Indonesia. Menurutnya hal tersebut masih akan dalam pertimbangan.

"We talked about the presidents desire to see manufacturing in the country, and it's something that we will look at," kata Tim Cook.

Terkait investasi, Tim Cook menilai Indonesia memiliki

keberagaman dan budaya yang sangat baik. Dirinya meyakini Indonesia memiliki kunci bagi sebuah negara berjalan baik untuk masa depan yang cerah.

"I love Indonesia. I love the feel here, the culture. I love the youth, the vibrancy, the dynamism of the local environment. And so I see all the key ingredients for a country that is doing well today that will do even better in the future. I think the future is very bright," kata Tim Cook.

Bahkan, Tim Cook menilai kemampuan investasi Indonesia baik. Dirinya menyebut ada banyak tempat untuk berinvestasi.

"I think the investment ability in Indonesia is endless. I think that theres a lot of great places to invest, and were investing, we believe in the country," kata Tim Cook.

Saat ini, kata Tim Cook, pihaknya telah membangun Apple developer academy. Saat ini sudah terbangun tiga, dan akan kembali dibangun di Bali.

"We are opening fourth developer academy. We just announced it yesterday, this one will be in Bali. We couldnt be more excited how the three have already performed, graduating thousands of people and being able to create apps for the App Store that appeal not only domestically, but abroad as well. And so were very excited," ungkapnya.
